Take God with you everywhere!!!

As Christians the devil will constantly be trying to get at you from all sides. I bet you never thought I would take it to the grocery store...Why not? evil and misunderstandings lurk everywhere...Oh, but, so does God and we as His Reps!!!!!! In the grocery store there are regular lines and there are 10 items or less lines. OK Family..You walk up with your 10 items precisely counted out. There is this middle aged woman with two influenceable teens ahead of you. The lady has a basket of items clearly over the 10 item limit. The cashier does not speak up. Should you? No. This is a test Ladies and Gentlemen. Only God can judge. Rethink and change your judgemental ways. Yes you are right, the lady should have read the sign but, but, but...Suppose she was blind and her kids were there to help her or she couldn't read and the kids were so busy being teens that they didn't look or she was in a hurry because her abusive husband gave her a certain amount of time or the line was completely empty and she wanted to deliver a message from God to the cashier that may have stopped her from committing suicide that night...I could go on forever as to the many scenarios. Suppose you would have spoken up. That seemingly quiet woman being completely stressed out..Not really bothering anybody... Could have caused All HELL and signs of the Lord's return to break out. Choose your battles carefully. We let the devil control us too much. It's not always up to us to speak up on something so innocent. I realized lately that SOMETIMES fighting for your life can also mean fighting the temptation to judge other people's affairs. To put it blundtly-SHUT UP AND LISTEN TO WHAT GOD IS TRYING TO TELL YOU! People what will it take for love to enter the picture and we look out for each other. You would think with the recession being present that we would understand that God wants to put everyone on the same level. Like I've said before "The used -to -haves are now in the Homeless shelters with the never-hads." It is not as hard as you think to become the solution. No matter your financial status or situation. You have to vow to be the solution and live it. Take God with you everywhere, even to the grocery store.

Suffering for Being a Christian 12 Dear friends, don't be surprised by the painful suffering you are going through. Don't feel as if something strange were happening to you. 13 Be joyful that you are taking part in Christ's sufferings. Then you will be filled with joy when Christ returns in glory.

Family,

I am appealing to those who have recently loss their homes. It is so important to look to God for strength. You may feel compelled to start feeling sorry for yourselves, and the devil may be encouraging you to dismiss the Lord. But, let me say... It is through trials, that the Lord tests your faith and endurance. If everything were peachy all of the time, how could we grow as people? I ask you to not give up. You may not understand all that the Lord does, but trust in Him and His word. He loves you! He will never leave nor forsake you! No matter what things look like now...Everything has a purpose!!!

Matthew 6:11-13

Paying final respects to our beloved Home

Dearly Beloved, As we look out this picturesque window, out into a memory filled, crisp, grassy view, let us take the time out to rememeber our Home...

I will venture to say that there was a time when pure snow filled her passionate roof. She would take the brunt of snowballs just to protect us. During the major holidays, when the snow melted it was like tears forecasting the inevitable. We didn't hang Christmas lights, because we felt it too painful to pretend we were here to stay.

A couple of short years into our ownership, there became this fear of losing her to a tragic disease. I've heard of a few homeowner's saving their homes from this disease, but chances were slim.
I'll never forget the name of this sneaky, and devastating disease: "Adjustable Rate Mortgage."

Home, endured family arguments, and with her gentleness calmed the storm. As a God fearing family, we know that whatever God does is for a reason. God gave Home and my family peace, because things got to tough to bare.

We began making final arrangements for her by hiring a Realtor. He gave us an estimate of the costs involved, you know like if you wanted to put her away in style or a humble send off. Next, he placed a For Sale sign in the yard. The hammering sound it took to prepare for such a viewing was to say the least eerie.

The days were leading up to the Foreclosure Auction, where we would pay our final respects. The mourning process was in full effect. As a Mother, I felt like I had abandoned my child.
It was a private interment, just the immediate family atteneded. It was our decision to elect pain-cremation.

Why you ask? Because as we slowly walk away from our dearly departed, we must look to God for strength, cross the bridges of life, and hold on to all lessons learned. In this case we placed our fiery pain in the smoldering delima, also known as Foreclosure.

SAVIORS OF HIP HOP - A Call to Action!

In the 80's I was a well known Rapper in my hometown in Va. My aka was Brooklyn B. Friends and family told me that I reminded them of MC Lyte... Yeah, Yeah, Kick that for Brooklyn! I whole heartedly believed I would be known as a famous rapper one day. If you wanna make God laugh, tell Him your plans! Though I don't rap anymore... I still remain cool with it, outspoken about important issues, and will always have a place for Rap in my heart.

So off the bat, you have learned that Rap is very dear to me. I deeply feel that Rap touched my Spirit that Jesus ultimately revived! As a teen in the 80's, Rap became my first love; It taught me how love really felt, it transformed my life to a certain degree, and it became ( like) a Savior to me. I know this revelation will shake a whole lot of people up, Church Folk included. But, that's what you do when people are asleep.

The truth is that all of us need to stop judging. Try Praying for God to change our ways, as we learn to love each other anyway. As far as Sin is concerned, I don't believe anybody on earth is brave enough to step up first and cast that first stone. If you decide to try it, let me know so I can run for cover. (lol)

Parents, Counselors, Rappers, Law Makers and all who read this: I'm calling you out today, you have an important task at hand. Jesus has called upon me to let you know this... For some strange reason He feels that y'all will listen to me. Hey who am I not to comply. I am Brenda Saw Jesus, not Jesus himself. Nobody is above God's will. Maybe a mother of a slain Rapper has been praying... who knows? I find it offensive when Rap gets a bad rep. Rap can not hold a gun nor take the heat for violent acts. We have to take responsibility for our children, and teach them the way they should go.

Rap is: A gift of expression, giving many topics a voice. Poetry about your feelings, and you having a choice. Happiness, sadness, the bad and the good. A first date with your love that you met in the hood.

Saviors of Hip Hop, through you the kids of our future will listen.

WONDER IF HEAVEN GOT A GHETTO

As I listened to 2Pac's rap lyrics, I felt a deep sense of love for his people. He gave us songs like: "Hold on Be Strong", "Brenda's Got a Baby"- Touching on teen pregnancy, "Keep Ya Head Up"- He tells us though things are hard, things will get better. "Ghetto Gospel"- Just because a Brotha is not perfect, I still love me some God.

I viewed a DVD where he was interviewed in 1988. He felt for the Homeless, and he let them stay in his home. The Bible tells us to not turn away the Homeless, let them stay in our homes.
He felt as though the poor and the rich should trade places every other week. I honestly feel him on that. If we got a chance to see how each other lived, there wouldn't be so much poverty, and things would be more closer to equality. 2Pac touched on prophecy...The "well to do", are presently getting a taste of "what to do." People's tests often become their testimony.

As a black woman from the ghetto, I have witnessed first hand how many parents strived to do better for their families. When other kids got Christmas gifts and so forth, many ghetto kids went without. When some parent's hearts are full of tears, and their eyes have seen and lived the effects of oppression associated with one foot in the hole... (struggle) they may turn to something more radical.

You know what I would love to see? I would like for people to start caring for the poor more. Use your money to take the poor families out of the ghetto, one family at a time. Don't do it to prove something to others, do it because that's what's in your heart. 2Pac opened up dialogue in the hoods, with his songs. Let's keep the dialogue going, use our voice, and vow to help our own families in the Ghetto's within the USA.

On these special days when you fast, you argue and fight and hit each other with your fists. You cannot do these things as you do now and believe your prayers are heard in heaven. This kind of special day is not what I want. This is not the way I want people to be sorry for what they have done. I don't want people just to bow their heads like a plant and wear rough cloth and lie in ashes to show their sadness. This is what you do on your special days when you fast, but do you think this is what the Lord wants? "I will tell you the kind of fast I want: Free the people you have put in prison unfairly and undo their chains. Free those to whom you are unfair and stop their hard labor.

What has the Lord declared for your life? At one time your heart said to the Lord, "Use me, my life is meaningless, please place more depth into it." Now, He has taken all of your trials and tribulations, all of the things that once made you weak and has used it to strengthen you. The Lord has heard all of the prayers you have prayed, and He has seen everything that you have been through. He looks at all of your qualifications including, but not limited to:location, gender,background...Now He has found a suitable job for you, the ultimate job! You now work for the Lord.

Your past trials, are now your testimony. He has prepared you to Stand!
"Let's be clear" Your faith is dead, unless you put it to action. You are not standing, if you're not declaring it in some way. My way and your way will not be the same. Don't let anybody else's shortcomings, misunderstanding, jealousy, hatred, evil, road blocks... stop you. You are victorious and the Lord has sent you. He will use who He deems necessary, because somebody needs your voice. Your heart has been read by the Lord. He knows your capabilities, and you are the woman/man for the job!!! STAND, STAND, STAND, STAND!

I spoke with a lady today in my town. I had a photo of Jesus on my shirt. She stopped me in my tracks to admire it. She tearfully went on to tell me about her son. She expressed to me about him getting out of jail, and how employers are not giving him a chance because of his record. I'm not sure of what his crime was. She didn't tell. I didn't ask. My comforting words to her were: "If God forgives us, we in turn should forgive each other."Times are hard and the predictions are; they are gonna get worse. The crime rate, murder rate, suicide rate and other rates are not gonna get better...unless we become our brother's keeper. Everybody has sinned and has done some things they wish they could take back. Re-evaluate some personal and business situations. Are the situations cruel enough to drop the ball on folks. There are kids drinking watered down milk, starving families, cold, hopeless, homeless and lower than depressed. If you are confused whether or not to help someone. Do the right thing anyway. Let God take care of evil doers.

Later, when all the water was gone from the bag, Hagar put her son under a bush. Then she went away a short distance and sat down. She thought, "My son will die, and I cannot watch this happen." I want to respectively open the dialogue on your thoughts about interracial relationships. First let me speak my peace, on what I see and hear. I hear Brothas say, " I'ma get me a white woman." They really feel that somehow their lives will be made right, by what the other races have to offer. The only way to be made right is through your Faith in Jesus Christ. The two main reasons I hear as to your choice to date out of your race are; Money and Submissiveness. Excuse me, but what ever happened to getting into a meaningful relationship because of love? You may never become rich, but with hard work you can become self reliant. There was another comment made by a young white girl: "They like us, because we act black." (Thank you for your honesty) But, I still haven't heard the word love. That puts us as Black Women in a tough spot. Some may feel disrespected by the mocking. See, being black is not something to be turned off or on. Let's respect each others diversity. I don't know about y'all, but playing hocus pocus, abracadabra and living off delusions is not being true to yourself. One should like you for you, not because of financial gain, ego boosters, acting or your willingness to develop a weak mind. Black Men, tearing down your own people in the process is not the way. Most of your Mothers are black. I am pretty sure that if someone spoke negatively about her, all Hell would break loose. It is no secret that black women are seen as dominant, outspoken,strong, confident, non-submissive and able to endure...but that's how God made us. Others races are unique too, and that's how God made them. The stereotype of "Baby Momma", would not be possible without a "Baby Daddy". There are innocent children being effected by this promiscuity. "Straight Up" If you know that this is not the woman that you want a baby by, don't have sex with her. Be strong and of great courage by waiting. There is nothing more sadder than a child with a parent; who doesn't want them. Never let someone brainwash you into thinking your child doesn't need you. They need your love and your knowledge. Denying your children and belittling black women... leaves you denying yourself. You have become a slave in your own self made Plantations. You have taken the whip and begun to whip yourselves; by your thoughts and actions. All people should seek the love of Jesus, aim to be your brother's keeper, have self and mind control, embrace your heritage, understand your choices, and be proud to be who the Lord has made.


1 Corinthians 13
I may speak in different languages of people or even angels. But if I do not have love, I am only a noisy bell or a crashing cymbal. I may have the gift of prophecy. I may understand all the secret things of God and have all knowledge, and I may have faith so great I can move mountains. But even with all these things, if I do not have love, then I am nothing. I may give away everything I have, and I may even give my body as an offering to be burned. But I gain nothing if I do not have love.
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, and it is not proud. Love is not rude, is not selfish, and does not get upset with others. Love does not count up wrongs that have been done. Love takes no pleasure in evil but rejoices over the truth. Love patiently accepts all things. It always trusts, always hopes, and always endures.
Love never ends. There are gifts of prophecy, but they will be ended. There are gifts of speaking in different languages, but those gifts will stop. There is the gift of knowledge, but it will come to an end. The reason is that our knowledge and our ability to prophesy are not perfect. But when perfection comes, the things that are not perfect will end. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I stopped those childish ways. It is the same with us. Now we see a dim reflection, as if we were looking into a mirror, but then we shall see clearly. Now I know only a part, but then I will know fully, as God has known me. So these three things continue forever: faith, hope, and love. And the greatest of these is love.

I strive to live my life in Truth, Peace and Love! Today I want your life to have a encouraging theme. Women we are the backbones to our families. Society wants to fool us into thinking that women are supposed to be weak. The Bible states that women are the weaker sex. It does not ask us to strive to be weak... rather strong. Many times your mate will attempt to belittle you... by threatening to leave you for a less dominant woman. (see ya) A good and secure man will welcome your strength. An insecure controlling man is looking for you to be the grass as he is the lawn mower. Mowing your self esteem and everything you stand for to the ground. Ask yourself..."Am I diluting my being?" You are capable of great things if you allow yourself the will and courage to stand. Sometimes ladies, when everything has evaporated God continues to build our character through strength. -No matter what nobody says, be proud of who you are, and if others don't like it...Tell them to go toooo...A PLACE WHERE THEY CAN DO SOME SOUL SEARCHIN' ! (lol)

FLAGS OF FAITH AND LOVE

We are all roaming the same earth, and we should be doing better. There is no reason for your neighbor to starve; as you drive around in a Benz . There is no reason why you should display flags of hatred; when you should be displaying love and faith. Help somebody directly. Just walk up to those in need and share your wealth. Do it in the name of Jesus! If you are to be judged, shouldn't it be evident and obvious that it's time to surrender to the Lord. There is no hiding place for the wicked. Repent now and confess to the Lord that you now accept Him as your personal Lord and Saviour. For those who have done so, and still go to Church every Sunday like clock work...while still practicing evil; You have now been outed. Sometimes God allow things to happen, so you can learn and repent. Whatever you do when you think nobody sees, is the natural grain that is embedded in your heart. Turn your ways around, and vow to choose good over evil....even when you think no one sees. Ask God To PASSOVER You, By Wearing Your Flag Of Faith & Love All The Time!
